What is home-visit bathing care?
Three staff members (nurse, helper, operator) will visit the patient’s home.
Long-term care insurance can be used to cover this service.
(Services can be provided even without long-term care insurance.)
This is a nursing care service that provides support for senior sitizens and persons with disabilities
to bathe at home. Vehicle for Bathing Care installs a special bathtub near the patient’s bed at home.
The space of 3.2㎡ is required.
Steps of home-visit bathing care
①The nurse checks blood pressure, body temperature, and pulse before bathing.

②After the bathtub is installed near the bed, a hose and a net will be attached to fill the tub with hot water.
⇓
③Towels are used to provide adequate privacy. All three staff members assist with moving to the tub for the safety of the patient.

④The entire body is washed and hair is shampooed. The external genitals and buttocks are also cleaned.

⑤It is approximately 15 minutes to complete the entire process, including shampoo.

⑥After the bath, clothes are changed, the overall condition is checked, and rehydration is encouraged.
